The site started as a 'vintage blog', the idea being to build a kind-of on-line museum detailing old computers I came across, with a wiki for documentation and other notes.  But things have developed in a different way, the focus having become more the ''creation'' of hardware for these old machines.  For me it's much more interesting, and besides, there's a wealth of information available on-line about pretty much everything already.
