CGA, Colour Graphics Array, was a video system introduced by IBM with the IBM Personal Computer.
The system provided text modes (both 80x25 and 40x25) with up to 16-colours, and graphics modes (320x200) with up to 4-colours. A CGA controller therefore had 16KB of RAM (320x200 x 2-bits / 8-bits).
